    Sunday April 27th

Please consider joining your fellow Club members in a general cleaning of our ranges and clubhouse. If you can bring a blower, tarp for dragging leaves, a rake, or a trimmer that would be great.

The start time is 9:00am and we generally finish up around 12:30.

There will be complementary coffee and doughnuts served in the morning, as well as pizza being served for lunch.

A perfect opportunity to help support our Club and earn yourself some
    Volunteer Reward Points.

Reward points can be obtained in several ways and used on everything from your membership dues, Club events and activities, Club courses, targets, Club hats, T-shirt, hoodies, and even soda and snacks. The points you earn can be transferred to another member. Or to family or friends looking to attend our Basic Pistol Safety Course.

    Holyoke Revolver Club

    Fun Shoots

Fun Shoots at the Holyoke Revolver Club are held bi-weekly and brought to you by

our “Director of Fun”, Dave Sparko.

The shoots are held at either the Indoor Range or behind the Clubhouse at the 50yd. Covered Line.

During the winter months, (October, November, December, January, February, and March) The Shoots take place at the Indoor Range.

Participants may use handguns chambered in .22LR only.

The course of fire is a head to head competition, using two sets of falling steel plates and one dueling tree.

Objective: Have FUN while you knock down your 5 falling plates and send your two dueling tree targets to your opponent’s side before he or she has a chance to send them back.

Scoring is done in the round robin format.

Suggested equipment: A .22LR, rimfire, semi-automatic pistol with two magazines or a revolver with one speedloader can certainly be successfully used as well. (No centerfire)

    Approximately 125 rounds of ammunition.

Setup is at 6:30, FUN begins promptly at 7:00 and will run to completion, usually around 8:30-9:00. Due to the scoring format participants must be signed up and ready to shoot at 7:00.

If you don’t have all the equipment just bring plenty of 22 ammo and someone will be more than willing to loan you theirs.

During the summer months, (April, May, June, July, August, and September) The shoots are held outdoors at the 50 yd Covered Line.

    Summer event times:

April – Setup at 5:00 shoot till 7:00

May, June, July, August – Setup at 5:00 shoot till 7:30

September – Setup at 5:00 shoot till 7:00

Participants may use rimfire or centerfire handguns, rimfire rifles, and pistol caliber carbines.

The course of fire is generally two of the Steel Challenge stages, consisting of 5 steel plates varying in size and location.

Objective: Have FUN while shooting all five plates as fast as you can, in any order as long as you shoot the designated stop plate last.

Each “turn” consists of 5 strings or “tries”.

Scoring is total time registered on an electronic shot timer.

Suggested equipment: Any rimfire or centerfire pistol or revolver, rifle chambered .22LR, or a pistol caliber carbine. Five magazines or speed loaders would be optimal but 3 will do.

Approximately 100 rounds of ammunition. NO magnum ammunition.

Setup is at 5:00, FUN begins immediately after, if you show up a little late that’s fine but the signup sheet is by order of arrival.

If you don’t have all the equipment just bring plenty of ammo and someone will be more than willing to loan you theirs.
