This is a follow-up course to the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting course and provides a more hands-on shooting experience. You will have the opportunity to try up to 10 different types of handguns.
Class and Range
In the class and on the range, safe shooting rules will be reviewed. One or more NRA Instructors and Range Safety Officers will be available to answer questions and help you familiarize yourself with a many different types and calibers of handguns.
Each participant will have a 1-on-1 instruction on the range. You will have the opportunity to handle and shoot many different types and calibers of handguns.
A majority of class time will be spent on the range and actually handling and shooting handguns.
This experience should clearly demonstrate what you will and won’t like in a gun and which will fit and feel best. The club supplies firearms, ammunition, eye and ear protection (if you do not have your own).
Requirements for Attendees:
Members – Please bring your Membership ID Card.
Students – (NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course given at HRC in the last 9 months).
Please bring the MA BFS Certificate & the NRA certificate that you were issued by HRC.
Non-Members – MUST have valid License to Carry (LTC). Please LTC with you.
Tuition Must be paid in advance to reserve your place in the class. The cost of the class: BPSC Students - $100.00 | Cancellation Policy: Due to limited enrollment payment is non-refundable, but rescheduling with a 3 day notice will be allowed for the next available class. A class can only be rescheduled one time. Extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis. |
