HRC Steel Challenge |
Our mission is to promote safe, fair and fun participation in Steel Shooting competition, for members of all ages and skill levels, through effective leadership, education, communication and administration.
This is the competition style that our Junior Team Shoots.

A Steel Challenge match features 8 courses of fire with 5 steel targets per stage. Targets range in distance from 21 feet all the way out to the 35-yard line. The smallest steel targets used in the sport are 10-inch round plates, with the largest 18x24 rectangular steel.
The goal is simple: Shoot the plates as fast as you can.

The Steel Challenge is once a month on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
Please come at 10:00 am to help with the setup. Shooting will start at 10:30 am.
If you have not done the Steel Challenge before come early to get familiarized with the stages and rules of Steel Challenge.
All shooters, regardless of caliber will start from the low ready position.
All Non-Magnum calibers are allowed. Pistols, Revolvers, 22LR Rifles or PCC-Pistol Caliber Carbines.
