HRC Members’ Meeting
The Holyoke Revolver Club’s members meeting for the month of June has been rescheduled to Sunday, June 7th at 1:30pm. Due to ‘social distancing’ requirements, the meeting will be held outside on the 50 yard covered range.
We hope to see you there!
At the present time the HRC Indoor Range will remain closed. The indoor range is now undergoing some long needed maintenance and repair to the backstop. We have hired a hazardous conditions (lead) contractor which is working along with our Club Governor, Tom Serricchio to complete this project ASAP. When we reopen the indoor range we will only be able to allow 5 people in the range at a time, and every other port will be closed (due to social distancing guidelines).
A special notice will be sent to membership when we reopen the indoor range.
Request – the club is in need of 5 gallon buckets with metal handles. The can be placed by the rear storage room door.
It is the time of the year that the Local Police departments carry out the Firearm Qualifications. The Holyoke PD, the SoHadley PD, and the HCCPD all qualify at our ranges. The different departments utilize different ranges. HRC members may use any range that is not in use by the PD or wait for the officers to complete their time. Dates will be posted on the club Calendar.
Renew Membership and Pay Online
The club has a convenient system in place for members to renew their memberships and pay for them without writing a check or stamping an envelope. The new system also saves the membership secretary’s time as he can keep the club roster up to date more quickly.
You may also print out the renewal application and mail it in will a check.

New Member Application Process
The HRC now has a new procedure for new member applicants to our club. New member applicants will sign up and attend the HRC Range Safety Training and Orientation class before attending the members’ meeting to join. For now we can only have 10 students at a time taking the class. The classes will be posted to the club calendar.
After meeting the requirements of this class, applicants will bring their Membership Application approved by the HRC Instructor or Range Safety Officer to the next members’ meeting, where the membership will vote to accept their application.
