Dues to Increase for 2018
The club recently held its first women-only shooting session, and there are plans to continue the program on the second Wednesday evening of each month. During that time the indoor range is reserved for use by any and all female HRC members. The get-togethers are informal, and details are on the club website.

A new Smith & Wesson .45 Shield pistol is being raffled by the club’s junior team to raise funds for its trip to the national championships in July. Tickets are $10, and available from team members and coaches through the club’s June meeting, when the winning ticket will be drawn.

The annual high power rifle clinic will be offered June 3 at HRC. The morning session will include information on the M1, M1A and AR 15 rifles and their use in competition. In the afternoon the clinic will move to the100-yard range for a demonstration match. The clinic is only available to HRC members and the fee is $100. Successful participants will be eligible to purchase rifles, accessories and ammunition from the Civilian Marksmanship Program.

The 24th annual Pioneer Valley Friends of NRA banquet will be held Friday, May 5 at the Castle of Knights on Memorial Drive in Chicopee.
