Looking for training specific to that new handgun you just purchased. Do you need to fulfill your “Live Fire” requirement in order to join HRC.
HRC Pistol – First Shots Training is the course for you.
The Holyoke Revolver Club (HRC) Pistol – First Shots Training is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type for classes of four or fewer students. This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and “Live Fire” range time learning to shoot a specific pistol action type. Students will learn the rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development at the Holyoke Revolver Club. Students will receive a Gun Safety Rules brochure and a HRC Pistol – First Shots Training certificate.
The cost of the class is $60.00.
The Holyoke Revolver Club (HRC) requires that new members have taken a MA Basic Firearms Course that includes “Live Fire”. The HRC Pistol – First Shots Training class will fulfill the “Live Fire” requirement for those people who would like to join the Club, but have not had “Live Fire” in their initial training. Members are also welcome to take this class to learn more about a specific hand gun they might have just purchased.
The next class is scheduled for September. However, if we get a minimum of 8 people signed up we will schedule the class for an earlier date.
